Nostell Priory Classic Car Show

The other weekend I attended a Classic Car show in Wakefield with my family; We all had a great time looking around some beautiful cars, so I thought I would share a few pictures so you too can enjoy them.

The annual Classic Car show was held at the beautiful stately home Nostell Priory in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and is run by Andrew Greenwood's Classic Shows who have been organising Classic Car, Bike and Performance shows since 1985.

According to their website, the organisation aim to provide an entertaining day out for the visitor - that's something that my family and I would definitely say they achieved. The day was very well organised and combined beautiful cars and a lovely venue with some great stands, and of course, sunny Yorkshire weather.

There were some gorgeous cars at the show including a 1926 Bentley, a couple of stunning Morgans, an AC Cobra, a Volkswagen SP2, and a Bond Bug! Unfortunately there were too many photos to put them all on so
after much deliberation I managed to settle on my favourite pictures from the day...

Mk 1 Ford Escort

Morgan 4/4

Lancia Delta Integrale HF

DeLorean DMC-12

Triumph Herald

1926 Bentley 3-4.5 with two seater racing body

Triumph Stag

Triumph Stag Engine

Gordon Keeble

Jensen Healey

Wolseley 1500

Austin A30

E-Type Jaguar Coupe Engine

Austin Healey (Frog Eye) Sprite

Needless to say the turnout was fantastic and I'm certainly looking forward to attending the Nostell Priory Classic Car Show next year, and hopefully another Andrew Greenwood event in the near future.

If you have recently attended a really good Classic Car event that you would recommend I would love to hear about it - please feel free to leave a comment below.
